These beauties date back to the Cretaceous period around 145 million years ago and contain nanoplankton fossils. The fossils have contributed to the creation of Mookaite as it is mainly found within huge deposits of Radiolarian clay. What makes these super unique is each one tends to have a different chemical structure with some containing more Chalcedony while others more Chert.
